Paralia Ofrinio

Welcome to an unforgettable trip to Paralia Ofrinio. The few kilometers, the clean air and the endless sandy beaches attract thousands of tourists to the Aegean.

Paralia Ofrinio will enchant you with nature, beaches and entertainment. The resort is not far from Bulgaria and only for an hour and a half from the Kulata you can sip a cold cocktail on the beach.

The easiest way to reach the sunny destination is through the Kulata checkpoint. From there you take the ring road of Serres and keep in the direction of Drama and then turn for Amphipolis. After reaching the highway Thessaloniki – Kavala, take the direction to Kavala and at the first turn to the right you reach Paralia Ofrinio.

Paralia Ofrinio (or Tuzla) is a tourist village located on Orfano Bay (Struma Bay), Kavala region. This is one of the nearest sea resort to Sofia – 290 km.
Although it offers wonderful conditions for tourists, the village is not too busy and is an ideal option for a relaxing holiday. The beach of Ofrinio is long and wide, famous for its large children’s center – a cafe with an inflatable water slide, hammocks, trampolines and special chairs for children. The beach is mixed – sandy-rocky. But it is clean and the beach is huge and not overcrowded. Umbrellas and sunbeds are placed in front of the romantic cafes on the beach promenade. There are also more wild and unguarded ones that offer peace and untouched nature, away from busy life.

The beach is 17 km long. The same beach has a port where you can anchor your boat, and if you don’t have one, you can buy the freshest and most delicious sea fish just caught from the sea. In the town you will find nice places to dine, drink cold frappe or have fun. From the terraces of the coastal taverns you can enjoy the bay while you wait for the waiter to bring you the huge portions of squid and octopus.

There are also nightclubs and cocktail bars for bohemians. The amusement park and children’s playgrounds are a great place for entertainment for the little ones.

Athos (Mount Athos) is located on the opposite side of Orfano Bay (Struma Bay). This is the only and unique “autonomous monastic state” in the world.

The Athos of the Halkidiki peninsula is one of the most important places for the Eastern Orthodox Church and Orthodox monasticism, with a rich cultural and historical heritage.

30 km from Paralia Ofriniou is the Alistrati Cave – one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Greece, famous for its bizarre rock formations, stalactites and stalactons.

This is just a small part of interesting places that you can visit in the Area of Ofrinio.
